A refridgerated air drier for use with plasma cutter.
I needed dry air for my plasma cutter, so I did this: Above: The whole operational unit. The exposed 1/4 tubes are all frosty white.  Above: Outer pressure jacket removed, so you can see the heat exchanger.  Above: Closeup of the end of the heat exchanger - smaller tube is 1/4 inch with refridgerant inside, and larger tube is 1/2" through which the shop air passes. |
