On the previous crash, some 2 inch wide tape running across the top surface of the right wing had come loose in the middle, but I did not know it. On the ground, everything looked fine, and at first launch, everything was fine, but after a few seconds of acceleration, the wind caught the tape and caused it to lift up like a drag chute, causing enormous drag on the right wing. It was all I could do to keep it going straight, and I could not turn left -- but it was very happy to turn right.Report Video
