I've recently purchased an old worn out 1993 Aeromate step van which I'm intending to use as a work van.
It's powered by a Dodge Caravan 3.3l v6 front wheel drive engine and powertrain, it has rubber torsion trailer axel for rear suspension, and weighs just under 4000 pounds empty, and I believe has a rated load of 1000 to 2000 pounds of cargo.
